Words & Graphics is 29 years old having started in May 1989 as a typesetting company.
It was founded with a policy of open systems and the intention was to keep pushing the boundaries of what was technically possible. As such it was one of the first to introduce a Postscript workflow instead of the more traditional proprietary workflows. In the early 90s it became one of the first book typesetting companies to use imposition software in its workflow.
The company recognised that the future for design and print was going to be digital and in 1999 decided to expand into colour printing with an Indigo digital press.
Over the years we have continued to invest in the latest software and update our digital presses and finishing machines and now have a state of the art design, print and finishing facility.
