Making The Most Of A Personal Bank Statement

Introduction

Some banks put mass-produced promotional leaflets in with bank statements and don't know whether the offers are interesting to the customer. Most of these promotions are thrown away.

Solution

Demo Bank knew that the majority of its customers held on to bank statements, checking them thoroughly.

It wanted to make use of this to make its services promotions more effective. The bank decided to introduce promotions printed straight onto the statment.

In order to ensure that the offers were relevant, the bank would only include offers that a customer qualified for but had not previously taken up.
